Alex fights for fairness and equality in the workplace by representing labor unions and workers in both litigation and strategic counseling matters. She also assists individual employees in cases of discrimination, retaliation, and harassment. Alex is a proud member of Minnesota Women Lawyers and is an active participant in the association’s Student to Attorney Mentorship Program and Publications Committee. Before joining Cummins & Cummins, she worked in the field of employment immigration law at several Minneapolis-based firms. During law school, Alex served as President of the Minnesota Justice Foundation’s Student Chapter and was a member of the school’s Dean’s List. She also volunteered with several nonprofit organizations, including Gender Justice and Mid-Minnesota Legal Aid in the Immigration Unit. Alex now serves as an adjunct professor at the University of Minnesota Law School, instructing law students who participate in the nationally renowned Robert F. Wagner Labor and Employment Law Moot Court Competition.
